Architecturally Refined
A restrictive floor plan opened into a multi-zone kitchen where light, movement and modern detailing finally work together.
The original room was serviceable and joyless. It had the square footage but none of the warmth, and the family had stopped using it for anything other than cooking.
A transitional scheme brought the two halves of the room into agreement, lifting the finishes, opening the sightlines and letting far more daylight reach the middle of the plan. The mood of the space changed before a single piece of furniture was moved back in.
