A restrictive floor plan opened into a multi-zone kitchen where light, movement and modern detailing finally work together.
The house sat in front of Lake Norman and could barely see it. Supporting columns interrupted the one thing the owners had bought the property for.
Removing them meant genuine structural engineering rather than cosmetic work, carried out over two years alongside the rest of the renovation. The reward is a view that runs the full width of the house, uninterrupted.
